With acres of grounds
and the adjacent Achilty forest it makes Coul House the perfect choice for you and your four-legged friend.
The Achilty forest has miles of trails with mile markers and directional signs. The forest surrounds the beautiful Roggie waterfalls and it’s infamous bouncy bridge that spans the river. There is a fish ladder at Roggie and during the summer months you can watch the salmon leaping up the falls.
You’ll find that many of our front of the house staff are keen advocates of the local walks and would be happy to give you guidance on where to go and what to see.
In the hotel itself we aim to make it as relaxing as possible both for you and your four-legged friend. Well-behaved pets will be allowed throughout the public rooms, apart from the restaurant, for the obvious reasons.
We make a small charge of £5 per pet per night to cover the extra cleaning.
Dear Stuart, I am writing on behalf of all the participants of the Highland Fling Tour to thank you and your staff for a very warm welcome to Coul House.”
