Hogmanay at Coul, 2015
3.00 - 5.00 pm - Settle in, and then join us for mulled wine and mince pies (or a cup of tea). A chance to sit and relax by one of our log fires after your journey, previewing and pre-ordering your wine and dinner.
7 for 7.30 pm - A la carte dinner featuring chef Garry Kenley`s contemporary Scottish cuisine. Preceded by the traditional introductions by your hosts Stuart & Susannah Macpherson; with a chance to introduce yourself to the other house guests.
A dessert buffet and cheese board will be offered this year in the front hall to be enjoyed in the lounges with coffee, shortbread and tablet.

8.00 - 10.00 am - Start your day with our a la carte breakfast served in the octagonal room with breathtaking views across the lawns to the Strathconon Mountains, first up get the window tables!
11.30 am - Guided walks (dogs optional). Introduce your pouch to some of the other dogs staying at the hotel (or borrow one or both of ours) followed by an invigorating walk in the woods or a gentle stroll around the policies.
3.00 - 4.00 pm - Fireside canapés with tea, coffee and a wee dram, once again previewing and pre-ordering your wine and dinner.
7 for 7.30 pm - Gourmet Celebration Ceilidh Chef Garry pulls out all the stops to create a most memorable meal and a fitting way to end the old year and bring in the new. Put your dancing shoes, dust off your finery and enjoy a traditional Highland ceilidh.
Midnight - Celebrate the New Year with a complimentary glass of bubbly then sing along to Auld Lang Syne (lyrics provided so no excuses!)
9.30 - 11.00am - Enjoy a gentle start to the New Year with a long lie and leisurely breakfast whilst listening to the soothing sounds of the Clarsach played by local musician Bill Taylor.
11.30 am - Guided dog walks. Take your four legged friend out again to discover another beautiful local walk.
3.00 - 4.00 pm - Traditional afternoon tea with home baked scones, a wee dram and other sweet treats once again previewing and pre-ordering your wine and dinner.
7 for 7.30pm - New Year’s Day Dinner and Quiz. Chef starts the year off with more culinary delights including a traditional roast. Test your grey matter`s resolve with our Dinner Quiz with “Quiz Master” Chris testing your general knowledge and retention of useless facts. We will see how many brain cells are still in operation after the previous night’s celebrations.
8 - 10.00 am - A la carte breakfast and a Highland farewell for those that have to leave. Don’t feel you have to! I am sure we will have several rooms available and special rates for those you wish to extend their stay.
